Quarantine has been a difficult time for many survivors who have depended on groups, therapy, and communing with others as means for support and healing. If you are missing your community and need help, please consider visiting the organizations.
National Sexual Assault Hotline: 800-656-4673(HOPE). This hotline connects you with a trained staff member from a sexual assault service provider in your area. The service is safe and confidential.
YWCA: YWCA's support group began during quarantine. It provides a group for survivors, LGBTQ+ survivors, and family and friends of survivors.
Health Imperatives: Health Imperatives holds a support group for survivors of sexual assault. You must contact someone prior to joining their meetings.
Alexandra House: Alexandra House started virtual support groups during the pandemic. They have three separate groups. Preregistration is required.
Abused Survivors: This group is an independently-organized survivor group where survivors discuss their experiences. You must request access to the group.
Survivor's Chat: This group is an independently-organized survivor group where survivors discuss their experiences. You may participate anonymously but have to sign up with your email to participate.
BARCC: BARCC holds a virtual survivor workshop in order to help survivors on their journey of healing.
